  Food was good (albeit overpriced) but the customer service was horrible. Not a single one of the waitresses smiled or was friendly to us. One of them brought a plate to our table, held it up and yelled "Sandwich special!" When we politely asked what it was, she just snapped that she didn't know, threw it down on the table and walked away. They also made a point of hitting us up for tips at the check-out before we got our food, and they don't bus your tables. Would not go back there again.

  I spent a LOT of time here last summer and fall when my home office wasn't set up and I needed a place with reliable wifi. Staff and patrons are always friendly, space is clean and offers seating arrangements for all kinds of singles/groups, and the coffee and food is great. I've had many bagels with hummus here (yummmmm) and also a few different baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Writing this makes me want to pop in for a visit. I believe they offer limited wine and beer in the afternoons, too!

  This cafe should be good but it isn't. The fact that there is no table service and waitresses--who look oppressed--can't earn tips should have clued me into the MO of the ownership. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, which tasted vile, but the manager (I had 3 conversations about this matter) refused to replace it with a cup of regular coffee without an additional charge. "We can't lose money on you," she said. "What other cafe would do such a thing?" To this incredible statement I replied that every other restaurant I have ever been to would, especially if the customer was promising to write a bad review online. That attitude left a bitter taste. AVOID this place, unless you want a lunch spiced with bad vibes.
